By capturing this dialogue between society, the built environment and pioneering plants I hope to offer insight + optimism toward the restoration of our landscape + natural resources.
Mr We need your designs in town - Send this post to our Mayor - It is kind of crazy we have these spots in the middle of the city. This is what the toursit see when they are in China Town.
ReplyDeletelegend!
ReplyDeleteI walk by this lot daily and have never looked at it in the way you just described it. Thank you for your insight, it has changed my view about what I thought was a wasteland. Now I can truly accept and experience the beauty in this matrix of art and architecture.
ReplyDeletethank you Mr. Barnard.
I too am a resident of the area and frequently walk by this site and fully agree with Christian.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I walk by this empty lot, I wonder why it hasn't been converted in to a public park or garden. Then I remember that I live in Victoria, a land of bureaucratic red tape...
ReplyDeleteLove the brick buldings as the backdrop to this amazing garden.
ReplyDeleteBest,

It has been on my mind for a while. I think we should do a gorilla installation here.
