Stairways to the sky

The Rice Terraces of the Phillipines, China and Japan.
These images represent a unique agro-technical method of building which was created thousands of years ago by rural village communities in arduous hard graft with primitive equipment. The final product is a breathtaking example of human ingenuity.

    I think I would love to see some gardens in a spa being inspired by the rise terraces of course with a nice therapeutic pool in the center

  5. I was visiting most of those rise field that are on the pictures most of them are in china , in real it's unreal ! the size is so big that what your eyes see you brain need sometime to process . this people are trully builders !
